This holiday season, our team returned to Pacific Oaks College Children’s School for another meaningful Storytime Outreach — spending the morning with young learners through books, imagination, and connection.
We gathered with the children on the classroom floor, opened picture books together, and shared stories filled with curiosity, kindness, and creativity. Little hands raised with questions, bright eyes followed each page, and laughter filled the room as stories came to life
Beyond reading, this visit was about presence — meeting children where they are, encouraging expression, and introducing the joy of storytelling at an age where wonder is limitless. Moments like these remind us how powerful early experiences with books can be.
As part of our ongoing community outreach at Pacific Oaks, this Holiday Storytime reflects what HERS believes in deeply:
that stories shape confidence, empathy, and the voices children carry forward.
One classroom, one story, one moment of connection at a time — this is where empowerment begins.
