This Thanksgiving season, our team spent the afternoon at a local Family Pop-Up Market, where families parked their cars, opened their trunks, and transformed the parking lot into a lively row of handmade treats, crafts, and children’s booths.
Amid the music and laughter, we set up our own table and shared homemade Yuzu lemonade with kids and
families. Children lined up for their drinks, parents stopped to chat, and many took the time to learn about our mission of empowering women through education, creativity, and storytelling.
Alongside the lemonade, we also offered picture books for our Thanksgiving fundraiser – stories full of color, imagination, and heart. Every donation from the day helps support the Her Future Scholarship Fund, which provides educational opportunities for first-generation and low-income girls.
There’s something special about serving the community in a setting like this — cars, families, tiny booths, and kids running between them — a reminder that meaningful impact often begins in the simplest places.
One cup, one book, one moment of kindness at a time – here’s to empowering the next generation this Thanksgiving.
